Pleasant Valley School will present its production of “Fiddler on the Roof Jr.” to the community on Nov. 14 and 15. Both performances will be at 7 p.m. at Pleasant Valley School in Penn Valley.

Tickets can be purchased at participating businesses or at the door. The cost is $5 per person or $10 per family. All proceeds from the play will go back into the drama program to help with production of their next play.

Teachers Tim Grebe and Katy Jamison produced and costumed the play. Students from the seventh- and eighth-grade drama class have spent months rehearsing music, acting skills and learning lighting and sound in the tech department in preparation for this event. Grebe and Jamison thought this to be a timeless story about tradition that all families could relate to in some way and also help students connect to current events in the Ukraine, where the story takes place.

Watch for ticket sales at local businesses, from Pleasant Valley drama students, or buy them at the door.
