Apple pie, pumpkin pie, cherry pie — all kinds of pies, and all of them homemade — will be available for sale on Sunday at Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley.

Pies are being baked by members of Peace Lutheran Church Women, and their sale will support Kare Crisis Nursery.

The private nonprofit is western Nevada County’s only facility providing safe, nurturing and free childcare for families going through stressful situations.

Look for pastry perfection at 9:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Sunday — after each worship service at Peace, located at 828 W. Main St., near downtown Grass Valley.

Pies will be in the lobby; go in the main doors and turn to the right.
