This year’s sixth annual Penny Pitch July 20, sponsored by KNCO radio and Kane’s restaurant, garnered a total of $5,000 to be donated to the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition.

An additional $275 has been raised since the event, bringing the grand total to $5,275 for DVSAC, which has provided 35 years of service to the community.

According to KNCO, the total surpassed the amount ever raised for a nonprofit organization by the annual Penny Pitch program.
