Party a chance to taste award-winning wines

The “Taste of Gold Harvest Party” takes place Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., at Nevada City Winery, 321 Spring St., Nevada City. Saturday’s music will be provided by Jonathan Meredith and Sunday’s by Greg Leupp. Tour the winery and sample wine and hors d’oeuvres. All is free with the exception of a $7 charge for the Gold Medal Library Tasting, which includes a keepsake wine glass to taste four Gold Medal-winning 1999 vintage red wines, as well as a Gold Medal-winning Chardonnay from 2002.
