Parking fines in Grass Valley

A $45 fine for parking these days in Grass Valley. The city seems to think it’s fair. But we want people to shop local but don’t stay any longer than three hours.

Get up from your hair being colored or your lunch after shopping and spending good money in our stores downtown. Then come back after three hours or so for a $45 fine.

I’ve paid many parking lot fines for my customers to keep them from leaving downtown and me, a local hair salon. And move their cars for them! So they can stay longer to stop and enjoy downtown. It’s getting expensive.
