Ohio Valley Refinery & Roadshow to stop in Grass Valley

Starting Tuesday, the Ohio Valley Gold and Silver Refinery will host a five day drive in western Nevada County to buy objects made of precious metals and other collectibles and antiques.

People can sell their goods directly to the refinery and be paid on the spot. Ohio Valley Gold & Silver Refinery officials expect to pay more than $300,000 for antiques, collectibles, gold, silver, platinum and palladium, they said.

Refineries typically deal with precious metal accumulators such as jewelry stores, pawn shops, dental offices or industrial facilities that trade with some form of precious metal.

Gold, silver, platinum and palladium will be accepted each day of this drive. All forms are welcome.

The drive will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, through Friday, April 9; and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at the Holbrooke Hotel, 212 W. Main St., downtown Grass Valley.

Call the Refinery at (217) 726-7590 for information.
