Not the usual grind: 2016 Gold Rush Classic Skateboard Race takes to Nevada City

Skateboarders compete in the 2016 Gold Rush Classic Saturday in Nevada City. A race for the best time through a course designed like a giant slalom run down Nimrod Street. Hosted by the N-Men, a skateboard crew based out of Sacramento, the event proceeds were donated to Pioneer Park. With a junior, open, master’s, and women’s division, everyone was welcome to compete.
