Not enough 9/11 coverage

I was surprised and dismayed by the lack of any recognition of the commemorative programs held throughout the country to remember the event so significant to our past and to our future.

A cartoon depicting the threat from our enemies (obvious) and a column on A7 dealing primarily with the Mosque debate were beside the point. Was it avoidance of the unfortunate Mosque location and Koran burning issues, a perverted sense of “PC,” editorial bias, or simply a reflection of our tendency to “forget” the importance of such events?

Whatever the reason, The Union, in my opinion, was derelict in not giving some front page attention to the tragedy of 9/11.
