NID repairs water line

A water service line to a solar shop on Idaho Maryland Road broke off from the main water line at about 5:30 a.m. Monday. NID maintenance crew supervisor Ken Copher said the cause of the break was the older condition of the water lines in the system. The pipes were repaired by noon Monday, after which time the crews worked to restore the trench in the road bed structure and then reinstall the asphalt in the roadway. All work was completed by the end of the day Monday, and traffic should be back to normal by Tuesday, Copher said.
