NH 2020 panel reviewing suggestions Thursday

The Natural Heritage 2020 Community Advisory Committee is slated to meet Thursday in Grass Valley City Hall from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. to continue reviewing recommendations on forestry and mining from a subcommittee.

The meeting will be held in the Hullender Room in city hall at 125 East Main Street, Grass Valley.

The role of the Natural Heritage 2020 Community Advisory Committee is to work with project staff and consultants to review information and make recommendations to the Nevada County Board of Supervisors regarding potential conservation priorities and strategies, county officials stated in a press release.

Public comment is welcome. Due to time considerations, comments by any individual may be limited to three minutes. Time to address the CAC will be allocated on the basis of the order of requests received.

The next regularly scheduled meeting is March 28 at Miners Foundry Cultural Center.
