NH 2020 ag group meets today

The Natural Heritage 2020 agricultural working group will meet today at 2:30 p.m. at Nevada City City Hall, 317 Broad St., to discuss and approve proposed revisions to its recommendations to the Citizens Advisory Committee.

The NH 2020 Community Advisory Committee will meet Thursday in Grass Valley to review recommendations from its forestry subcommittee. The meeting will be held at St. Joseph’s Cultural Center, 410 S. Church St., from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The committee will also take public comment on mining recommendations. Public comment is slated for 9:15 p.m. for items not on the agenda and is limited to three minutes per person.

The next regularly scheduled meeting is April 25, also at St. Joseph’s in Grass Valley.

The agenda packet may be viewed during business hours at the Nevada County Planning Department, 950 Maidu Ave., Nevada City. Copies can be obtained for 10 cents a page.
