New buildings proposed in Grass Valley area

A new sign, a dental office and two new buildings are on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Grass Valley Development Review Committee.

Catherine Peters will apply for a sign at her new Bon Bon Salon at 110 E. Main St. in the historic downtown district.

Brent Daggett will apply for a 1,215-square-foot addition and to remodel a 1,570-square-foot space to accommodate a dental office at 453 S. Auburn St. in an area zoned as a flexible neighborhood center.



SCO Planning and Engineering is developing recommendations for the Nevada County Planning Commission for a 17,974-square-foot building at 12140 Charles Dr. in the city’s sphere of influence.

Jeff Gold is applying to build a two-story, 20,835-square-foot building and a 1,280-square-foot detached storage facility at 156 Litton Dr., in the corporate business park zone.




The meeting starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 125 E. Main St.
