Nevada County temperatures expected to rise through week

The weather for the beginning of the week is expected to be mostly clear with slight chance of showers with a sunny and warmer weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

During the day Tuesday, skies are expected to be partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers in the morning and a mostly sunny afternoon with high prevailing west winds up to 15 mph, a recording by the NWS reported.

Tuesday night is expected to be mostly clear with lows of 48 to 54 degrees with a western wind up to 10 mph.



Wednesday was projected to be partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers in the morning and a mostly sunny afternoon.

The highs in higher elevations are expected to be 65 to 75 and 75 to 80 at lower elevations.




There is a prevailing southeast wind shifting southwest in the afternoon up to 10 mph, NWS reported.

Wednesday night should be mostly clear, and Thursday is expected to be warmer with a high of 71 to 85, depending on the elevation.

The weekend is expected to be warm with temperatures in the 80s to 90s.
