Nevada County Sheriff’s Office seeks sex assault suspect

Nevada County Sheriff’s detectives are requesting the community’s help identifying a suspect in a sexual assault that occurred in the 24000 block of Table Meadows Road at about 5 p.m. on June 10.

The suspect is described as a white man, 20-30 years old with a shaved or bald head, hazel eyes, approximately 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, with a medium build. The suspect is reported to have a pair of “feminine” eyes tattooed on his back between his shoulder blades, and a tattoo of a red “X” or cross in another unknown shape on the lower leg. The suspect might be associated with an early model white Toyota Tundra or Tacoma extra cab pickup. If anyone has any information that may lead to the identification of the suspect, they are asked to call Detective Rob Bringolf at 530-265-1507.
