Nevada County Police Blotter: Hell raisers with fire extinguisher reported

Friday

8:10 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Sutton Way reported vandalism to a flower planter and requested extra patrols at night.

10:11 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of South Auburn Street reported a woman throwing trash into bushes who then started shooting up. She was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia and violating probation.

12:03 p.m. — A man from the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported a piece of siding fell out of a truck, and the driver of a vehicle behind him stopped to pick it up, took it and then left the scene.

2:44 p.m. — A caller reported a theft.

3:27 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported the theft of a vehicle, which was subsequently located.

4:05 p.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported finding needles on the trail. A hypodermic was located and destroyed.

4:44 p.m. — A caller reported a girl was spit on while riding the bus.

1:16 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Sutton Way reported Romany panhandlers. A person was cited.

1:46 p.m. — A caller from Kathleen Way and Packard Drive reported a drug deal just took place.

3:10 p.m. — A caller from Idaho-Maryland Road and Railroad Avenue reported a man looking into mailboxes. He could not be located.

4:19 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported someone broke into a storage shed.

7:42 p.m. — A caller from Rockwood Drive reported the theft of eight or nine empty oxygen tanks.

11:55 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Berryhill Drive reported three men running around in the parking lot spraying a fire extinguisher and raising hell. No one was located.

6:14 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Cemetery Road reported someone tried to kick in a door to a residence and shoot the caller. The report was unfounded.

7:46 a.m. — A woman from Red Dog Road and Dusty Drive reported a man beat her and took her car keys. A woman was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse ad a child was taken into custody by CPS.

8:12 a.m. — A caller from Clivus Drive and Malcolm Place reported a dog attacked another dog.

10:26 a.m. — A caller from Bethel Glen Court reported a woman in a hoodie tried to get into a neighboring house last night and now was on the caller's property. She could not be located.

10:53 a.m. — A caller from Crescent Drive reported the theft of a $2,000 check from a mailbox.

1:09 p.m. — A caller from Amberley Lane reported a theft from a mailbox.

1:26 p.m. — A caller from East Empire Court reported a man on the trail with a rifle, who look "off." Rangers could not locate him.

2:10 p.m. — A caller from Pleasant Valley Road reported a person presenting to be from the Sheriff's office keeps calling and saying a Social Security number had been compromised.

3:34 p.m. — A caller from Killian Road reported a person took her phone and threw it, breaking it.

4:11 p.m. — A caller from Jennifer Drive reported a burglary to a house, with the theft of a bed.

4:31 p.m. — A caller from Ivey Lane reported the possible theft of mail.

4:35 p.m. — A caller from Williwaw Run reported an intruder with someone covering his face, who could not be located.

4:39 p.m. — A caller from Dogwood Road reported the theft of a pole and a gate keypad.

8:01 p.m. — A caller from Purdon and B-4 Ranch roads reported hearing gunshots. At 9:04 p.m., a caller reported fireworks.

9:30 p.m. — A caller reported a house guest who was drunk and refusing to leave, threatening to maker the caller's life hell.

9:47 p.m. — A caller from Wolf Creek Road reported hearing a vehicle pull up and then a gunshot. The vehicle then left.

7:40 a.m. — A caller from Purdon Road reported a truck taken out of a driveway overnight.

9:15 a.m. — A woman from Alta Sierra Drive reported a girl threw a party last night without the mother's knowledge and now was out of control and throwing things.

9:41 a.m. — A caller from Big Oak Drive reported a neighbor taking out trees on other people's properties.

10:53 a.m. — A caller from Brunswick Road and MacBoyle Way reported five or more people camping on private property.

2:07 p.m. — A caller reported cyber-bullying of a girl.

2:54 p.m. — A caller from Hydraulic Ridge Close reported trespassers on quads. They could not be located.

3:45 p.m. — A caller from lake Forest Drive reported a woman was running around naked and breaking things, who was drunk and on meth. A report was taken.

4:11 p.m. — A caller from Mooney Flat Road reported the theft of a pony.

4:23 p.m. — A woman from High Street reported hearing gunshots. She said normally she wouldn't worry about it, but it's scary times right now. Nothing was located.

7:02 p.m. — A caller from Edgett Lane reported gunshots.

8:11 p.m. — A caller from Lake Wildwood Drive reported a man with Alzheimer's left 45 minutes ago on foot. At 1:24 a.m., a caller from Chickadee Lane reported having seen someone on his home camera. At 1:25 a.m., a caller from Sunforest Drive reported seeing someone with a flashlight. He was located on Forest Park Circle at 1:48 a.m.
