Nevada County library properties going smoke-free July 1

The properties of the Madelyn Helling Library in Nevada City and Grass Valley Library – Royce Branch are going smoke-free and tobacco-free on July 1.

On Wednesday, the community is invited to an informative meeting to learn more about tobacco-free Nevada County Libraries. Nevada County’s Public Health Officer, Dr. Ken Cutler, will host a public forum to explain the new policy and address any questions or concerns. The public forum will be held from 6-7 p.m. in the Gene Albaugh Community Room at the Madelyn Helling Library.

For information, contact Laura Pappani, County Librarian, at 530-265-7078 or laura.pappani@co.nevada.ca.us.
