Nevada City’s lack of respect

Nevada City’s

lack of respect

It is a sad commentary when a community does not observe Memorial Day. What has happened to showing respect for those who have died for this country? There were only a handful of businesses in Nevada City that took the time to fly the flag in remembrance of those brave people who made the ultimate sacrifice.

What a shame when the city can deck the whole town out with American flags for the Teddy Bear Convention but can’t even take the time to honor Memorial Day.
