McClintock, Herger to talk wastewater treatment

Rep. Tom McClintock and Wally Herger will be talking about wastewater treatment on Monday in Auburn.

Congressman McClintock, R-Elk Grove, and Congressman Herger, R-Chico, will be joined by representatives of federal and state agencies, Assemblyman Dan Logue, R-Linda, and state Sen. Sam Aanastad, R-Grass Valley, in the discussion on wastewater treatment in rural districts.

The legislators will discuss their views on regulations, fines, fees and litigation they say financially harm area communities, according to McClintock’s office.

The forum will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, in the Placer County Board of Supervisors chambers, 175 Fulweiler Ave., Auburn.
