May 3, 4 now official vets’ Poppy Days

May 3 and 4 have been officially declared American Legion Auxiliary Veterans Poppy Days by Grass Valley Mayor Linda Stevens.

The poppies are made by hospitalized, disabled and rehabilitated veterans and are offered to the public by the auxiliary at businesses all over town. All proceeds from the donations are used for Nevada County veterans and families welfare and rehabilitation programs.
