Martin goes online, gets endorsed

Fourth District Supervisor Elizabeth “Izzy” Martin has gone online with a Web site for her re-election campaign.

The site features Martin’s service on community organizations, campaign platform, first-term achievements and a discussion on various county issues.

Martin said she’s proud the site combines community service with campaign information.

“As District 4 supervisor, it’s my job to help make government accessible to the taxpayers,” she said.

Martin recently won the endorsement of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 39.

“I am pleased to inform you that our Union proudly endorses your candidacy for re-election to the Nevada County Board of Supervisors,” according to a letter of endorsement signed by Director of Public Employees Perry Bonilla.
