Come out for a great time and get ready to win on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Marine Corps League’s Casino Night and Costume Party!

When you do, you’ll be helping to support the many activities we do, such as providing color guards at public events, honor guards at veterans’ funerals, helping military families in need and our Toys for Tots program, which provides new toys to disadvantaged children at Christmas who might not receive a gift otherwise.

We’ve partnered with Friends of Nevada County Military to bring you this event, which will also support the good work they do in sending care packages to our troops in harm’s way.

With your ticket, you’ll receive a gourmet dessert (five-star hotel chef), chips for playing all your favorite table games, a no-host bar, great raffle prizes and a costume contest that you don’t want to miss.

Costumes are not required to come and have a good time. Tickets are only $20 in advance and are available at The Book Seller on Mill Street in Grass Valley and The Mine Shaft on Broad Street in Nevada City. We’ll also be at the following locations selling tickets today: Raley’s, B&C Hardware, Long Drugs, off Brunswick and Longs Drugs at Lake of the Pines.

For tickets or more information you can also visit or call 272-5339.
