Man threatens to blare music at church in police blotter

8:22 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Clark Street reported a neighbor, who steals the caller’s newspapers, was harassing her husband and his clients.
1:11 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sierra College Drive reported juveniles from Nevada Union High School coming onto a property on their lunch breaks, stepping on vehicles to climb a retaining wall and smoking behind bushes.
1:31 p.m. — A caller at an automotive business on the 100 block of Idaho Maryland Road reported the theft of a vehicle battery.
3:12 p.m. — A caller at a convalescent home on the 300 block of Joerschke Drive reported two patients with dementia assaulted one another without realizing it.
4:45 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Murphy and East Main streets reported that a heavyset woman in a maroon Honda CRV attempted to run over the caller and then cussed.
5:30 p.m. — A caller at a business on the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter was in the custody of a loss prevention officer.
6:45 p.m. — A caller at a business on the 100 block of Neal Street reported the shoplifting of a bottle of whiskey and root beer.

8:37 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Empress Road and Bitney Springs Road reported a non-injury crash involving a vehicle running into a telephone pole.
11:10 a.m. — A caller on 10500 block of Smith Road reported the burglary of unwanted items from a trailer.
11:38 a.m. — A caller from the 21800 block of Donner Pass Road reported a subject on her property shooting out her vehicle’s windows and carrying a baseball bat.
2:07 p.m. — A caller at a business on the 200 block of West Main Street reported that a customer attempted to sell an item matching the description of an item previously reported as stolen.
8:58 p.m. — A caller on the 15871 block of Little Valley Road reported a deer in their front yard with two broken legs. While on the phone, the deer left the yard and the caller said they would attempt to locate it.
1:15 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Alice Way and Lawrence Way reported the theft of a vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently recovered.
4:59 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Brunswick and Burma roads reported load construction noises and said that if there is no noise ordinance, he will play music loudly and aim speakers at a church.
7:20 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Mystic Mine Road and Golden Eagle Way reported a neighbor attempting to set a vehicle on fire.
