Local martial arts studio hosts food-less "Non-Potluck" tonight

In response to a shortage at the Nevada County Food Bank, the Aikido’Ka dojo is holding its first Non-Potluck tonight from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Attendees will gather together the non-perishable fixings or monetary donations for a potluck, but not make anything.

Attendees will play, dance, do some simple aikido and not eat together. Those who want to start classes in the martial art can get a discounted membership if they sign up at the event.

To RSVP, visit http://www.joinaikido.com/martial-arts-special-events/ . The dojo is located at 142 East McKnight Way in Grass Valley.

For more information, contact Frank Bloksberg at (530) 273-2727 or (530) 478-0170, or visit http://www.joinaikido.com .
