Local man selling memoir of cop years

William Wilhelm, the Nevada County man who wrote his memoir of life as a Los Angeles motorcycle patrolman, personally has sold 200 copies of his book, he said recently.

He wrote the entertaining “Code Two and a Half” for a general audience, including law enforcement officers and young adults, Wilhelm said.

The book, published by Oak Tree Publishing Co. of Taylorville, Ill., is available for $12.95 by calling Wilhelm at 265-9148 or online at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.
