Members of two Girl Scout troops and a Daisy Troop met Wednesday afternoon to plant bulbs at Union Hill School. Hundreds of bulbs were purchased by the school’s Parent Teacher Club, Principal’s Fund and the Student Council, all of which pitched in $300 to pay for the bulbs, as part of a beautification project at the school. Members of Girl Scout Troops 538 and 154, along with Daisy Troop 920 spent the afternoon digging holes along a bare stretch of land, adjacent to the school field. The bulbs were purchased through a student council fundraiser in September that benefitted its garden project.
