Update: 9:56 p.m. —After a series of plays, Bruins punt the game on a 4th down. Colfax takes over as the clock winds down.

Update: 9:55 p.m. —Another five yard gain, 2nd and 4. Bruins get another short gain for a first down.

Update: 9:53 p.m. —1st and 10, five yard run to the 21. 2nd and 5, nice run to the 35 for a first down. 4:03 left in the game.

Update: 9:50 p.m. — Bruins take over after kickoff at the 16.

NEVADA UNION Update: That will do it at NU – Miners fall to Granite Bay 24-14 – now 1-7 overall and 0-4 in SFL

Update: 9:45 p.m. —Austin Weir hooks up with Matthew Harshman 63 yards for a TD. Bear River leads 41-14. Just under 5 minutes to play.

Update: 9:41 p.m. — Bradley Dzioba with a QB keeper for a Bruins touchdown. XP no good. Bear River ahead, 41-7.

NEVADA UNION Update: Miners score on 10 yard TD run by Kase Scott – 2pt convo good – NU trails GB 24-14 with less than a minute in 4th

Update: 9:42 p.m. —1st and 10, Falcons run up to the 35 for the first down. 1st and 10, Bruins pick it off and run it back to the 5.

Update: 9:40 p.m. —Bruins punt, Falcons take over at the 17. 8 minutes left in the game.

Update: 9:39 p.m. — Bruins with another short gain, 3rd and 6. FUMBLE, Bruins recover for a loss, 4th down.

Update: 9:36 p.m. —1st and 10, Bruins get a couple of yards, 2nd and 8.

Update: 9:35 p.m. — 10 minutes left in the game, Bruins take over at the 44.

Update: 9:35 p.m. —1st and 10, Weir throws an incomplete pass. 2nd and 10, another incomplete pass. 3rd and 10, Rineer gets a 2 yard gain, 4th and 8. Falcons punt.

Update: 9:32 p.m. —Bruins kickoff, Colfax takes over at their 24.

Update: 9:27 p.m. —Beginning of the 4th quarter, Voter with a 48-yard bomb to Toran Maronic. Bruins up, 35-7.

NEVADA UNION Update: Granite Bay hits on 10-yard TD pass, goes up 24-6 on NU in 4th qtr

Update: 9:22 p.m. — At the end of the 3rd quarter, Bear River leads 28-7 over Colfax. Bear River with possession after intercepting the ball.

Update: 9:19 p.m. —Falcons punt. Bruins get the ball back and after a long run Baze stretches across the goal line for an 8-yard score. Bear River widens the gap, 28-7.

NEVADA UNION Update: Headed to the 4th at NU, Miners trail Granite Bay 17-6, and have ball at GB 45 yard line

Update: 9:16 p.m. — Falcons take over at their own 27. 1st and 10, get a 4 yard gain, 2nd and 6. five minutes left in the 3rd.

Update: 9:15 p.m. —Voter scrambles for a loss of 14. 3rd and 21, voter hits a deep pass but it’s incomplete. Bruins to punt

Update: 9:14 p.m. —Baze runs up to the 44 for a short gain. 2nd and 7.

Update: 9:13 p.m. —1st and 10, Baze breaks away for a long run to the Falcon’s 47. 35 yard run.

Update: 9:05 p.m.—Baze gets a monster shovel pass run for 21 yards. 1st and 10 at the 20, Bruins get a 6 yard gain to the 14.

Update: 8:38 p.m. —After a couple Bruin gains, Voter throws an 18 yard pass to Mastrella for a touchdown. Bear River extends lead to 21-7. First half ends.

Update: 8:37 p.m. — 2nd and 1, Voter throws an incomplete pass. 3rd and 1.

Update: 8:35 p.m. — Colfax punts, Bruins takeover at the Colfax 45. 1st and 10, a pass completed to the 36.

Update: 8:34 p.m. — 58 seconds left in the half. TIMEOUT

Update: 8:33 p.m. —1:30 left in the half, Falcons get a solid gain for a 4th and short.

Update: 8:32 p.m. —2nd and 12, Colfax get a short gain, 3rd and 9.

NEVADA UNION Update: Just before halftime, NUs Dal Bon finds A Schnitzius for 7 yard TD, XP no good, NU trails Granite Bay 17-6 at half

Update: 8:26 p.m. —After a 41-yard pass from Jason Voter to Ben O’Lena, Baze powers in for a 1-yard score, set up Bruins on top, 14-7.

Update: 8:25 p.m. —Bruins get another short gain to the 42.

Update: 8:24 p.m. — Bruins take it over at their own 42. 1st and 10, Bruins get a 3 yard gain. 2nd and 7, Bear River gets a nice gain for a first down at the Falcon’s 47.

Update: 8:23 p.m. —Mastrella lays down the wood knocking Rineer’s helmet off. 4th and 2. Punt team comes on.

Update: 8:22 p.m. — Bruins knock down a pass on 2nd down. 3rd and 10 TIMEOUT.

Update: 8:21 p.m. —Falcons gets a short gain from a pass. 2nd and 10.

Update: 8:19 p.m. —Voter throws to O’Lena who is tackled at the 15. 3rd and 7. Voter struggles with the snap and is sacked at the 23, with a loss of 8. 4th and 15. Bruins go for it, but a pass falls incomplete. Colfax takes over.

Update: 8:17 p.m. —Bruins called for an illegal shift. 1st and 15 from the 22. Mastrella gets a short gain for 2nd and 12 at the 19.

Update 8:16 p.m. —On first down Baze gets a 3 yard run, 2nd and 7. Mastrella runs up to the 17 for a first down.

Update: 8:12 p.m. —Falcons kickoff, and Bruins take over at the Colfax 28 after a long run back.

NEVADA UNION Update: Another 1 yrd TD run puts Granite Bay up 17-0 on NU in 2nd qtr

Update: 8:08 p.m. — 2nd quarter begins, and after a series of gains the Falcons score with a Lukas Rineer 1-yard plunge. The game is tied at 7-7. 10 minutes left in the second.

Update: 8:02 p.m. —Bruins lead 7-0. Colfax drives up to the Bear River 18 yard line. End of first quarter.

Update: 8:01 p.m. — More action from the Bruins’ game:

Update: 8 p.m. — After a series of short runs, Bear River’s Baze scores on a 4 yard run and lead 7-0.

NEVADA UNION update: At the end of 1, NU trails Granite Bay 10-0

Update: 7:59 p.m. —Mastrella gets a 5 yard run up to the 16, 2nd and 5.

Update: 7:58 p.m. —Bruins get the first down with that 13 yard reception.

Update: 7:56 p.m. —Bruins go for it, get a completion and get spotted right inside the 21.

Update: 7:55 p.m. —Bruins throw an incomplete pass, to bring up 4th and long. 3:04 left in the first. TIMEOUT

Update: 7:54 p.m. —Bruins called for off sides violation, 3rd and 13.

Update: 7:52 p.m. —Voter in the shotgun, floats it up into the end zone but incomplete. 2nd and 10, 4 minutes left in the first. Bruins run it up the gut to the 29, 3rd and 8.

Update: 7:51 p.m. —Bruins run again for a short gain, 4th and a foot. Voter snaps the play, Baze runs it up for a 1st down.

Update: 7:48 p.m. —Bruins get a nice run for a first down, then Austin Baze gets another gain of five yards. 2nd and 5, up to the Falcons 36 yard line.

Update: 7:47 p.m. — Bruins get a one yard loss, 2nd and 11. Penalty called against Colfax, off sides. 2nd and 6.

Update: 7:46 p.m. — Jason Voter gets a 3-yard run. 2nd and 7. Next play Mastrella gets a good run in up to the 37 yard line, but steps out of bounds. 1st and 10, 8 mniutes left in the quarter.

Update: 7:45 p.m. —Mastrella makes a fair catch at the Bruins’ 25. 1st and 10.

Update: 7:44 p.m. — Falcons get a reception and run up to the 40 with a gain of 6. 4th and 2. Punt team comes on.

Update: 7:43 p.m. —Bear River stops the Colfax running back for a loss of two. 3rd and 8.

Update: 7:42 p.m. — Falcons get a gain of 9 off a pass completion, 2nd and 6 at the 35.

Update: 7:41 p.m. —1st down for Colfax at their own 31 after a nice run. Falcons called for a penalty on the next play, 1st and 15.

Update: 7:39 p.m. —On 2nd down, Bruins called for a horse collar penalty.

Update: 7:38 p.m. — Falcons have it, 1st and 10 at their own 20. Bruins stop the run for a one yard loss. 2nd and 11.

NEVADA UNION update: Granite Bay goes up 7-0 on 1 yard TD plunge, leads Nevada Union 7-0 in 1st

Update: 7:30 p.m. —Action from Bear River High School: The kickoff, Colfax receives.

Update: 7:24 p.m. —JV: Colfax tops Bear River 27-12, improves to 7-0, 2-0 PVL. The Bruins drop to 3-4, 1-1 PVL.

Update: 7:21 p.m. —O’Brien injured his hand in the first quarter of last week’s game against Foothill, yet played the entire game.

Update: 7:17 p.m. —Bear River’s David O’Brien out with a broken hand. The Bruins’ Dave Mastrella will look to carry the load.

Update: 7:15 p.m. —Nevada Union JV loses to Granite Bay, 42-9.
