Liberals add to our country’s problems

Ronald Kessler’s book, “The Terrorist Watch,” explains how the Clinton Administration destroyed the ability of the FBI and CIA to protect us from 9/11. Thousands of Americans were killed in 9/11 and the many other terrorist operations. Since then, President Bush has made many changes, and he has saved thousands of lives. He turned the Clinton recession into a booming economy. He lowered taxes. He tried to solve the energy problem and the Social Security problem, but the liberal democratic Congress opposed all logical solutions to our many problems. Bush has convinced Libya and North Korea to conform. The stock market has soared since he took office.

Liberals are preaching we need change. The country wanted change when Ford was president. Carter was elected. He gave us 22 percent inflation, 16 percent interest rates, a bad recession and hostages in Iran. Later, President Reagan cut taxes, created a good economy and defeated Russia in the Cold War.

Electing liberals only adds problems instead of solving existing problems such as energy; Social Security; health programs; national, state and local deficits; the trade deficit and illegal immigration.
