Lake Wildwood Women’s ClubFashion Show Luncheon Follow up

A huge thank you to the Women’s Club members and guests who attended our annual fashion show, “Simplicity Always in Style” on Friday, October 9th. We had a near sell-out with 96 attendees..WOW! The afternoon began on a happy note with guests visiting friends, meeting new members and commenting on the charming table decorations by Virginia Sanchez

Katy and her staff of At Your Service catered a delicious luncheon of Chicken Veronique and a fabulous dessert of Autumn Harvest Squares with Pumpkin Spice and topped with Irish Cream. Yes, it was as good as it sounds!

A special thank you to our LWW friends and local merchants for their contributions of jewelry, beauty items, gift certificates for fashions, beauty services and much more in making the raffle a huge success. Your generosity in purchasing raffle tickets earned net proceeds of $400.00. The two recipients of the raffle proceeds are the Breast Cancer Imagining Center and the LWW Association for landscaping of The Oaks clubhouse. Each will receive a $200 donation. Congratulations to the winners of the raffle and door prizes…enjoy your winnings.

Marilee Imamota did an outstanding job of coordinating and delivering the commentary of the gorgeous fashions from Judi’s of Nevada City, Mill Street Clothiers, Fresh Image and Beautiful. Maria Aguilera of Stars Salon did a lovely job styling the models hair. Kudos to our models in displaying their talent and showing us how to strut the walk. Ladies you really rock!
