Kirk, Patty and Moose: Timing is everything

Carolyn Niehaus
AnimalSave Executive Director

Sometimes things have a way of working out. Take the story of Moose and his new home, for instance.

Kirk adopted Moose, an airedale, two months ago. Kirk is in the Air Force and found out that he is soon to be deployed to the Middle East. He went to AnimalSave for help with placing Moose in a new home.

Stephanie, a Program Info Volunteer, took his information and assured him that a good home would be found for the puppy.

Kirk and Moose went home to wait for to hear back from AnimalSave. Literally two minutes later, Patty walked in, lonely and looking a new friend. Stephanie told her about Moose.

Kirk, Moose and Patty arranged to meet at AnimalSave later that day. Patty fell instantly in love with Moose. Kirk was happy to have found a good home for his little buddy.

Patty made a neuter appointment and was off with her new friend.

Some things are just meant to be.
