Keeping kids warm for the winter

The Project Linus “Make A Blanket Day,” will be held Saturday at U.S. Sewing Machine in Grass Valley.

U.S. Sewing Machine is located at 12344 Nevada City Highway in Grass Valley. The event is a benefit for Project Linus, a nonprofit organization geared to provide comfort to children in need.

Blankets donated at U.S. Sewing Machine in Grass Valley will remain in Nevada County. Last year, the company collected more than 180 blankets through “Make a Blanket Day.”
