Johnny Cash tribute show encore performance set for Saturday

“I knew this band had a really good singer and musicians, but I was absolutely blown away when I heard the voice of James Garner,” says John Zurflueh, director of the Nevada County Conference & Visitors Bureau (CVB). “His voice, along with the storytelling about the career of Cash and the highly professional musicians, made for a show that really exceeded our expectations.”



Due to a sold out and extremely popular performance at Naggiar Vineyards earlier this year, the CVBis bringing back the incredible James Garner and the Cash Band.

Up until his death in 2003, Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash had a show business career that spanned almost 50 years. Johnny Cash was a prolific songwriter and singer whose genres covered country western, rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly, blues and gospel music. Cash is the only person to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.




In 1968, after many proposals, he married June Carter who came from a family that some describe as “country music royalty.” They went on to write and perform many songs together until June’s death just four month’s before Johnny’s.

There will be a greet session following the performance.
