Joehnck wants to maintain rural beauty

Bob Joehnck is the candidate running for supervisor of District 2 who wants to maintain the rural ambiance of Nevada County we love so well.

He wants to uphold the General Plan and not cave in to the developers. As an experienced attorney in both private and public practice emphasizing land use, environmental, local government, housing and mining law, he can read through the tomes of environmental impact reports and see through any misrepresentations in developers’ plans.

Currently Bob is the executive director of Project Jump Start in Nevada County. He has been the general counsel for the California Housing Finance Agency and senior in-house counsel for the state department administering the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act.

If elected, he will enhance our property values by encouraging the development and expansion of technologically focused businesses. He wants to make sure that all citizens know what’s happening on issues that affect them and promises to have regular meetings with his constituents in south county.
