The woman from the 1100 block of Ball Road called the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office at 8:44 p.m. Wednesday to report that her ex-husband had been threatening her and possibly stalking her for the last one week. He was also calling her and her family continuously, she said. Officers gave her information on how to get a restraining order.

Later, at 9:38 p.m., officers from the Nevada City Police Department arrested a 19-year-old man on Bridge Street on suspicion of fighting in public and booked him into the Nevada County jail.

At 10:17 p.m., officers arrested a 52-year-old man at the intersection of Pine Street and Broad Street on suspicion of resisting a police officer and battery on a police officer and booked him into the Nevada County jail.
