A man from the 10000 block of Maranatha Place called the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office at 11:05 a.m. Monday to report that his aunt had taken away his stimulus check and was refusing to give it back to her, saying he owed her money.

At 5 p.m. Monday, a man from the 11000 block of Squirrel Creek Road reported that his neighbor was continually harassing him and his dogs. He said his neighbor had been kicking rocks at his dogs.

Later, at 8:52 p.m., a man called the sheriff’s office from the 18000 block of Royal Plum Way to report that his wife, who had been involved in a single car accident with a tree half an hour ago, was now behaving in a strange manner.
