Holiday Inn Express solar project to create 30 jobs

Long Beach solar firm LiteSolar plans to hire about 30 people in western Nevada County to work on a 375,000-watt array it’s installing at the Gold Miner’s Inn-Holiday Inn Express in Grass Valley, said hotel co-owner Nick Hayhurst.

The firm is looking for workers with solar, installation and mechanical experience to fill the temporary positions.

“We want to hire as many people as we can locally,” Hayhurst said.
