Help Haiti by assembling a toiletry kit

Even the basics such as soap and toothpaste are in short supply in Haiti, so the Nevada City United Methodist Church is collecting health kits to provide earthquake victims with toiletries.

Individuals or groups can assemble the kits, which will be shipped to the United Methodist Committee on Relief’s personnel in Haiti.

All supplies and donations go directly to needy people, not to administration, said local organizer Aurelius Lindeen.

Kits can be dropped off during normal business hours in the lobby of The Union’s office, 464 Sutton Way, in Grass Valley.
