Have some class when nursing

I am writing to respond to the recent incident of nursing in public. I have just returned from a vacation, so I was quite amused by the comments from the Web section on the editorial page when I arrived home.

I nursed my three boys, and never once did I ever feel the need to satisfy their hunger at the counter at City Hall while filling out paperwork. My goodness, if your baby is that hungry, find a bench, cradle him in your arms, throw a tiny blanket over your shoulder, and off you go.

There is not a person in Grass Valley that is saying you can’t nurse your child in public. A 15-month-old child can eat a cracker while you fill out a form. It’s just ridiculous to pull out your breast in any situation, anywhere you please to nurse your child.

Have a little class, please.
