Great Clips in Grass Valley thanks veterans with free haircuts

Submitted to The Union

Great Clips salons across the nation — including Glenbrook Plaza Great Clips in Grass Valley — are showing appreciation for Veterans by giving all Great Clips customers a way to thank those who've served or are serving in the U.S. military.

On Nov. 11, all non-veteran customers who get a service at Glenbrook Plaza Great Clips salon get a free haircut card they can give to a veteran as a thank you. Limit one card per customer, while supplies last.

Veterans and active service members get either a free haircut or a free haircut card to use later. The cards can be redeemed for a free haircut from Nov. 12 to Dec. 31 at any U.S. Great Clips salon with proof of military service.

Now in its forth consecutive year, Great Clips' "You Can Thank a Veteran" promotion has provided over half a million free haircuts for military members and veterans.

"Many of us know at least one veteran, even if we don't know much about their service," Nichole Raymond, manager at Glenbook Great Clips, said. "This Veterans Day, consider asking a veteran about their service — how long they served, what job they had, and what their service meant to them. Thank that veteran with a free haircut card to express your recognition and appreciation for their service."
