Grass Valley’s Great Clips join show of appreciation to veterans

Submitted to The Union

For the sixth consecutive year, Great Clips salons across the nation, including the Glenbrook Plaza and Pine Creek locations in Grass Valley, are showing appreciation for veterans and giving all Great Clips customers a way to thank those who have served or are serving in the U.S. military, according to a release.

On Sunday, all non-veteran customers who get a service at the Glenbrook or Pine Creek Great Clips salons get a free haircut card they can give to a veteran as a thank you. Limit one card per customer, while supplies last.

Veterans and active service members get either a free haircut or a free haircut card to use later. The cards can be redeemed for a free haircut from Monday through the end of the year at any U.S. Great Clips salon with proof of military service.

This year, Great Clips is taking the opportunity to thank and recognize veterans, active military members and veteran's supporters through a campaign called #GREATful4VETS.

The campaign tells the stories of 12 individuals across the Great Clips network including franchisees, salon managers, stylists, family members and loyal customers, who have actively served or go above and beyond to support those who have served in the military. The stories will be shared on social media and GreatClips.com throughout the months of October and November.

Great Clips encourages people to share stories on social media about the military members and veterans who they are grateful for using the hashtag #GREATful4VETS. For more information visit GreatClips.com or follow on Facebook to see full videos.
