Grass Valley man sworn in as CHP officer

Brandon Beem, of Grass Valley, successfully completed the 27-week cadet training course at the California Highway Patrol Academy. He has been assigned to duty at the CHP’s Indio-area office.

Beem is a 2007 graduate of Bear River High School and attended Sierra College, where he studied administration of Justice. Prior to joining the CHP, Beem worked for Garda Cash Logistics as an armored transport driver.
