November 10, 2017
The Grass Valley Downtown Association is hosting a holiday market from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is inviting Nevada County residents to shop local, and visit downtown merchants for discounts, deals, snacks, music and more.
Participating stores are Art Works Gallery, The Book Seller, Caroline's Coffee Roasters, Beautiful Boutique, The Center for the Arts, Cult of Gemini, M3 Mall, Bamboo Home Store, The Olive Groove, Center of Movement, Mill Street Clothing Co., Foothill Mercantile, Tess' Kitchen Store, Williams Stationary, La Te Da, Heart and Home and Antique Emporium.
Foothill Mercantile is doing its annual 20 percent off toys in stock sale, said association staff member Marissa Hernandez.
"The Center for the Arts is doing a deal if you buy any ticket you get to spin the wheel and win prizes," she said. "Everyone else will have something on sale or discounted. And Tofanelli's will have Santa's mail box, where everyone can write a letter and drop it off. Every letter will be answered!"
Blial Cabal, a collaborative collection that features "fervently fashioned artwork, unique gifts and handmade adornments," will have its grand opening during the holiday market.
The new store, located at 127 Neal St. No. A, promises to have snacks and drinks, as well as a raffle with "some rad prizes."
