Government class to host election debate

Bear River High School’s advanced placement government class has invited nine school board candidates and the public to a debate Oct. 8 at the high school.

Candidates invited to the 7 p.m. debate are Jay Betz, JoAnn Bothwell, Carol Brady, Gary Clarke, Liz Rhodes, Joan Rossovich and Guy Tortorici, who have filed to run for the three open seats on the Pleasant Ridge Union School District.



The two candidates for the one open seat on the Nevada Joint Union High School District board, Corrine Pariilo and Lorraine Plagge, have also been invited.
