Lyman Gilmore is performing an original musical production, written specifically for junior high students by a pair of local playwrights, Michael and Ginny Trapani.

The drama, “In Your Dreams,” is designed for middle school ages and older; attendance by young children is discouraged.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Additional performances will be at 7 p.m. May 23 and May 24. All performances will be at the Lyman Gilmore Multipurpose Room.

The cost at the door is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

The production involves students in acting, singing, stage design, lights, sound, costumes, video production, animation, and directing. The Advanced Media Club at Gilmore is incorporating claymation and video production into a segment of the play that addresses tobacco addiction.
