Garden party raises funds for Women of Worth

“The Garden Party,” a fundraiser for Women of Worth, is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at a private home at 13332 Bass Trail, Grass Valley. The event will include appetizers, an assortment of drinks, including wine, a silent and a live auction. Tickets are on sale at The Union, by calling Women of Worth at 530-272-6851 or by visiting http://www.women-of-worth.org. The cost is $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Funds generated from the Garden Party will assist victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, as well as helping to support the local transitional shelter Hetty’s Haven.
