Former supervisor for Meagher

As a former Nevada County Supervisor, I know full well the importance of electing a County Treasurer who is not indebted to any other branch of County government. Dai Meagher has spent a lot of time getting ordinary citizens to support him, while his opponent has received the endorsement of the current Board of Supervisors. This is the worst form of political obligation, getting the endorsement of those over whom you are supposed to be a watchdog.

Dai Meagher has support from the left, from the right, and most of it from right down the middle. In a nonpartisan position you know you are doing it correctly when the right says you have too much support from the left and the left saying you’ve got too much from the right. Kind of like the preacher when half the congregation says the sermons are too long and the other half say they are too short. Right down the middle.

Dai is a CPA – Certified (went to school, took the hard test) Public (owes allegiance to no special interest but the public), Accountant (smart money man). That’s who I want as Treasurer.
