A helicopter from the Tahoe National Forest White Cloud Helitack Base drops water on a brush fire that broke out on Oak Canyon Drive south of Pleasant Valley Road Thursday morning. Personnel from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, and Penn Valley and Rough and Ready fire departments put out the approximately 1-acre fire.
