Families, come out for Friday skyshow

A skyshow and family night are slated Friday at the Imaginarium in Nevada City.

Children 5 and under will be admitted free to family night from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the science museum at Nevada City Highway and Ridge Road.

The show starts at 8 p.m. outdoors with a half-hour of storytelling about the night sky.

From 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the show will feature the museum’s new computerized telescope to view the Andromeda Galaxy, Eagle and Ring nebulas, Herculean Cluster, binary stars and other dark-sky objects.
