Fairgrounds to close Wednesday, Thursday to repair leak

In order repair a major water leak at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, the grounds will be closed to walkers and bicyclists this week on Wednesday and Thursday, according to a news release.

The Fairgrounds Main Office will also be closed during the two days. Because no drinking water or public restrooms will be available during this time, and due to the nature of the repairs, the closure of the Fairgrounds is necessary, the release states.

The Fairgrounds will re-open its gates to walkers and bicyclists as usual on Friday, Oct. 5.
