Ex-NOW president to discuss book

The youngest ever elected president of the California branch of the National Organization for Women will be at The Bookseller to speak about her new book this weekend.

Megan Seely will visit the Grass Valley book store at 1 p.m. Saturday discussing “Fight Like a Girl: How to be a Fearless Feminist.” The Bookseller is located at 107 Mill Street.

Seely served two terms, from 2001 to 2005. An activist from a very young age, she has been involved in community organizing and feminist activism on local, state and national levels. She lives and teaches in Northern California.
