Engagement: Cummins – Romig

Mr. and Mrs. Alan Cummins of Grass Valley announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Jeanell, to Matthew Romig, (pictured) son of Paul and Ellen Romig of Estes Park, Colo.

The future bride, a 2006 graduate of Moody Bible Institute and a recent Master of Music graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, is a private voice and piano instructor, and is also the head stage manager for the 2009-2010 opera productions at the university.

The future groom is a 2008 graduate of Moody Bible Institute and is attending the University of Northern Colorado in pursuit of his Master’s in Music Education degree.



He proposed on the cliffs above Bear Lake in the Rocky Mountain National Park while snowshoeing on Nov. 25, 2009.

The wedding will be held on May 22 in Estes Park, Colo. A reception is planned for Grass Valley in August.
